This supported twist may not look like much but it offers a wealth of benefits to the body: • rejuvenates and realigns the spine • relieves stress and tension along the sides and midsection • improves blood flow to stomach and aids in digestion • keeps the range of motion of the spine healthy We will do this pose, and many others, tomorrow at the Restorative Workshop w/ Aromatherapy at @helhetsakademin from 14-16. I will use @doterra essential oils to add another layer of relaxation to your practice. There are a few spots free (link in bio)! Happy Friday and for those in Skåne, enjoy the 🌞 and that hint of spring in the air. PS this was taken in my little at home studio...first classes start next Saturday! 😆
Bella does this thing where she runs into our room yelling, “amor, amor, amor, amor” at the top of her lungs. Pretty amazing to just want to run around yelling “LOVE” all the time. ❤️ Kids get it.
Balancing act part two: beach slopes 🌊🌞
Have you ever experienced the peace and understanding that arises when enough time has passed and the dots connect? Seemingly arbitrary events take on new meaning. The evolution of a relationship can be like that. Looking 11 years back, I got a call from @travelswithaburro asking if I wanted to travel to South America. 8 years ago we met a travel friend in Colombia who led us to a beach town in Ecuador we had never heard of. A sign "Denver Broncos Game tonight" led us into a place called the Surf Shack. Working there for $1/hour for a few Swedish brothers for a month...fast forward 3 years to reconnection, world travels, 14 month long visa application, disconnection and challenge, moving abroad and creating a new home, so on and so forth. It's almost 8 years to the date that we met and the dots make a lot more sense and have led to immense growth, understanding and love. • Having lazing afternoons and being prone to nostalgia, it brings me back to one my favorite quotes, "Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer." Rainer Maria Rilke (Letters to a Young Poet) •...keep questioning and live everything. All the love from the Land of Smiles!

A Day to Remember .:. written by Brooke Stern

The last few days have been the hardest moments for me in my life. My dog, & my everything, Maya passed away suddenly. There are no words to explain the pain it is causing. To help heal, I decided I wanted to give back by bringing a new life (delivering a baby) into this world. […]
